07. Weather [angol]

07. Weather

Hungary has a continental climate. This means that the weather is quite easily predictable (megjósolható) and there are big differences between the weather in the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Hungary is protected from the extremes weather by the mountain ranges encompassing (bekerít) her from almost all sides.. Temperatures above 30 degree Celsius may occur in July and August but generally do not last long. January and February are the coldest months, but even then the average temperature does not fall below minus 5 degree Celsius.

England has a maritime climate, which means that the weather is very wet and rainy there. It is usually very changeable and it is difficult to forecast with certainly even for a day. It rarely snows and if it does, it melts when it reaches the ground. Summers are cool and damp too. Possibly because it is so unpredictable, English people are always prepared to discuss the weather.

My favourite season is summer. In summer we don’t have to go to school, and the weather is very good and hot. We can go on holiday, and swimming. We can go on excursions.

Autumn is the rainiest season of the year. The days are getting colder and colder, leaves are falling down from the trees, so this is the most colorful season.
